There has never been a mirror in this lavatory; someone wrote PLACE MIRROR HERE above the sink. Desiring at least one mirror-free lavatory in the building, someone (myself) put a post-it above that directive, that added Please Don't to it. (Both original message, and my addendum, would shortly be replaced by something else, and better.)

And I began bringing in and pinning to the wall passages on mirrors that were appearing on blogs I watch (or follow) on tumblr. Eventually I moved them to a side wall, away from sink-splash. Some of those are shown above, partially transcribed and linked below.
