Imagine a couple going into a bookstore in Leipzig, 1913. The husband goes into the commercial/business books section, where he reads abababal, ababedem, ababifin, ababogop... and buys (or doesn't) the book. His wife goes into the poetry section where, perhaps, she encounters work by August Stramm (1874-1915 *) or — fastforward through the war, to 1916 — Hugo Ball (1886-1927 *) his Karawane ( * , *) e.g., —

anlogo bung...
