A fine musical service; A faltering
— April 1st, Rev. James M. Craig, ’64, preached for the first time in the cozy and handsome chapel of the new church in Newport, R. I. A fine musical service was rendered, and Pastor Craig told his people with Scottish frankness, that “A faltering, pottering, puttering church neither God nor man has any use for. Splendid yesterdays do not build churches, and more than they save business houses and schools and political parties.”
